Misty-Headed

TEACHERS DAY

So last friday, Me, Naim and Sway went back to our school for Teachers Day to pay a little visit to our fellow Hartmasians. There was a little talk of wearing our uniforms (just for the fun of it)... then just our blazers... alas, in the end, we just went casual. We shall have to do it someday! It would be interesting to see everyones reaction, We would be like "Hi, we are the new Form 6!"...anyway back to the main topic, Naim was so graciously helpful enough to pick Sway and Me up before we headed up to school! (Sway lives in Selayang and I live in Bangsar by the way). Thanks Naim!!! We reached school around a quarter to ten, met up with our prefect board and were told we missed the most exciting opening ceremony ever. I mean... we purposely came later to MISS that with all the long and not to mention boring speeches. We met up with the rest of the teachers after that. Pn Yong, still looking as gorgeous as ever, Pn Uma... looking happy, Mr Manmohan still playing volleyball with the students, Pn Sarinah, who seems to have an easier life after stepping down from her posts, both Pn Chua(h)s look the same to me...one of them even took a pic with us! She even has facebook. Ah well... moving on, we met up with Pau later whos sister was performing one of the dances. They can tut!!!. Later on, PQ came as well... somehow we ended up talking about the gym most of the time... apparently, he wants to get ripped! All the best to you dude. Things got a little boring after a while so Pau drove us to the nearby Devi's to have a drink. Went back to school to pick up Naim's cousin and sister. Waiting for them really hit me with the realisation of not being a High School student anymore... I somehow felt... old :(.

One Utama and... Narnia: Prince Caspian !

Naim had to drop Sway and me off some distance from OU due to the shortage of time he had to go to the mosque. So, we were dropped off at the TTDI Police Station where we began the journey to One Utama. Halfway through the walk there, I swear we almost got killed (well, not really killed, just badly injured) when a tree branch snapped off its place on the tree and fell a few feet in font of us. This was no small twig my friends... it was moderately sized, about as long as your class room desk and pretty wide too! The people in the surrounding area were staring at us in shock. Thank god it missed us.

We reached One Utama and bought the tickets, meeting several people we knew on the way. I think we saw Yi Di, Evangeline, Da Han, Sufian, Eugene Sia, Cheryl and Peik Yin (did i get that right?) We had a little bit of trouble looking for a place to eat, and once having decided where to eat, having a little bit of trouble finding the place! We ate at Only Mee, a really reasonably priced place which serves, as you guessed from the title, mee! Ah, but they dont just serve mee, no, they serve other dishes with rice as well. I ordered a particularly tricky looking Black Pepper Chicken in a Pot. Took me sometime to figure out where the rice was hidden!. Debbie met up with us later on where we had a really good talk... one I wish i could have more often with friends now. Naim joined us later on with his Hot Chocolate Pretzel which i must say, is one very messy piece of food! We then headed up for the movie.

I would say the movie was okay. Awesome sound effects and fight scenes. Looking for one of those huge LOTR war scenes? The ones with thousands of soldiers marching in orderly ranks, their boots going THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP synchronously? Watch Narnia for a more subtle but nevertheless splendid one as well. Sway and Debbie were pratically drooling over Prince Caspian, i noticed the squeals of excitement everytime he appeared :P Although, all in all, i feel that that the movie could have been better, it was as if something was lacking from it. However, it is definitely worth watching.

I had to leave after the movie concluded while Naim, Debbie and Sway went to Karaoke. For more details, refer to Sways blog :).

A Shoutout to Arie.

Congratulations to Arie on winning the Malaysian Amateur Open! You are seriously gonna go far mate! Eric must be really proud :).

Conclusion.

On another note, i would like to apologise to those who i talk to for being somewhat unresponsive. A lot of things happening here and there have just made my mind all clouded up lately. Everyone, always try to be optimistic though as hard as it may be! :)

Oh and one more thing, to those of you who would like a real challenge ( or those of you who just want to hate yourself) , i present you.... The Worlds Hardest Game :) It's a puzzle game with very challenging, almost impossible puzzles to solve. I've only managed to reach level 8 :(. The goal is to complete it in the least amount of deaths!
