.insanity squared. Yeaaaa mannnnn!
This Chow Jo-Ann. More often called Chow Ann, Ann, Jo and more recently something to do with McDonalds =P. I think she's also part of the Batu sisters a lot with Angie and Kat.I knew her since Form 1, 1 Hormat but we've only been close since Form 4. Who would have thought, you 3A people would come to Marikh ^^. We basically had our own little group in Form 4 and Form 5...many random and crazy moments were shared together!!!:). Thanks to Ann and Angie in teaching Naim and me the art of cam-whoring lol. Oh yes, we go to the same chem tuition too.
She also has a few trademarks of her own. We call this The Jo-Ann. To name a few, there's her knack of rubbing her nose occasionally. Then there's her trademark laugh... oftenly mistook as a sarcastic one. There's also the really cool way she says "Yeaaaa maannnnn"... always cracks me and Sway up :).
To sum up the Jo-Ann:
Rub your nose.
Go "Yeaaa mannnn" when agreeing with people.
Have that uber cool trademark laugh..something like..."Uhuhk"..what the..no that doesn't sound right... darn it i need to start recording you doing all your stuff!!
Jo-Ann's someone who you can really talk to and count on. I can safely say she's one of my closest friends and i share a lot of my problems with her. She's always eager to listen to your problems and offers great advice too. When i'm feeling down or something, Jo-Ann always asks whats wrong and really cheers me up :). She's one of the few i really open up to. She even came to visit me when i broke my hand this year!!! I still have the balloon that all of you gave me in my room :P.
We've had countless random-picture-taking moments...it was really fun. From Japanese poses to funny faces to balancing things on our heads to sticking flags on ourselves..you name it, we've done it. Oh yes, did i mention Jo-Ann dances really well? I first saw her dance at Sasha and Daryl's dance party last year. Seriously felt out of place there. Everyone was just shaking to the beat and i couldn't do nuts :(. Thanks to you guys..i've picked up more confidence :).
It's weird. but Jo-Ann makes exams more fun. I'll be staring at the paper thinking how i'm gonna die when i get my results for it. I look at Jo-Ann and we both give each other the "Omg we're gonna die" look.
In a nutshell, (lol like EST essay only), Jo-Ann is a very sociable, approachable and friendly person...a friend anyone would be really lucky to have. People. The next Oprah's coming your way. Thank you for always being there. For the talks about *cough*. For all your lame jokes. For the unforgettable crazy random moments. For just being my friend.
P.s: Eh, Jo-Ann hot ah!! ;)

Candid moment. Jo-Ann can balance a bottle on her head but i need someone to hold up a pencil box for me -_-.

Picture post | Burnt!.
BURNT!!!
Finally played my first golf round in 8 months since i broke my hand! Met up with a few of my friends, Daniel, Ashraf and Jamil today. Reached the club at 9:40am, had breakfast, went to the range to warm up and proceeded to the course. Game wasn't too bad.. managed to get a birdie lol. Shouldn't have taken part in the bet. Jamil and me lost 2&1 to Daniel and Ashraf. It was fun :)

A Tribute to the Golf People!!!
First of all, I would like to wish SELAMAT HARI RAYA! to all the malays and HAPPY HOLIDAYS! to everyone... oh and Naim do bring back you great aunts rendang... I want to try!!!
I first took up golf at the age of 12, saw my dad swinging a golf club and was curious to try it out. Began to play seriously at 13 and have been hooked on the game ever since. These are the people who have made been my golfing buddies for quite sometime now and are loads of fun to play/be around with. They have really made the game of golf heaps interesting and crazy for me :).

This is me.
DANIEL
This is Daniel, one of my main "kaki's" for golf. First met him a couple of years back when he was in Form 1. Back then, he was known for his bad temper on the golf course. As time went by, he slowly matured and is pretty cool nowadays :P.Daniels currently studying at SMK Damansara Jaya. He hits the ball extremely long and we have long drive contests with Gavin and the gang from time to time.( He won the longest drive for the Junior Club Championship if i am not mistaken..291meters...wtf..i smell a sprinkler in play :3). He's cracks me up all the time and can be really random if he wants to. Besides that, he really has a fetish for cool looking golf attire and equipment...*cough J Lindeberg cough*... We have our bad times but it's always okay again a few minutes after. Likes to bully Jamil a lot too...poor guy.... Many new phrases and slangs were invented by this guy... many which i cannot mention here as this is a G-rated site!!! ^^. Oh yes, his dad owns a Subaru Impreza... a modified rally one WHICH he gets to drive when hes older T_T. In the meantime let me use it a bit yeh? kthxbai.
GAVIN
This is Gavin and yes, thats Amber Chia in the picture. Didn't manage to find a picture with his swing so its just this one. Gavin... another one of my main "kaki's" for golfing. Now this guy hits the ball a looooong way. He appeared in the clubs magazine as the fashion guy o the club or something. Anything from white pants with blue stripes to green camouflage to orange, he has it!!!. He also happens to own a J Linderbeg bell which from what i hear costs like 500 bucks ...rich dude. I met him a couple of years ago and we've been pretty close ever since. He and Daniel share alot of funny and random moments together.. the videos are all on my phone...beware when i figure out how to upload it!!!.
At the Clearwater Sanctuary Resort..
GAVIN: I dare you shout out loud help, help!
DANIEL: You dare?
GAVIN: I dare.
DANIEL: Go la.
GAVIN: HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!
DANIEL: *Squeals some sort of gibberish in a really high pitched voice*
Oh yes, and theres the time when we stole a buggy at the Clearwater Sanctuary Resort and crashed into a motorcycle...nice going Gavin lol. He's been a great golfing partner and friend ^^.
JAMIL
Jamil teeing off at the 9th hole.
This is Jamil. I first met him a couple of years back at the range when he was bouncing two golf balls on the floor. He looks like a quiet sort of guy but once you get to know him, he really is an awesome and loyal friend. Being the oldest of all of us at 19 years old..he's also the shortest^^. Sometimes referred to as Sergio due to his amazing ability to pull off flop shots almost anywhere, on almost any lie. Jamil and Daniel argue a lot, usually because Daniel always teases him for no apparent reason. Back during his secondary school days, Jamil studied at SMK St John... it so happens my BM tuition teacher's from there too!!!^^. Right now, Jamil's studying in UNITAR. Another one of my main "kaki's" for golf. Used to have the same golf back at me..and i think we still have the same set of irons lol. Oh yes, he is also happily taken so congratulations on your relationship!! May it be long and fruitful ;).
PAUL
This is Paul. He's one of the funniest guys you'll ever meet.Seriously, he has the best insults and comebacks...so he rarely loses an insult match *coughdanielcough*. I first met him a few years back during the Junior Clinic at the club. He shows you the true meaning of distance though as for direction...that's a different story ^^. He's really well built and is around my height. Representing Selangor for discus. I think he was Malaysia's number one discus thrower for his category at one point. My gym partner for those occasions when we hit the gym. He used to be one of my main "kaki's" but is not very active in golf...preferring to Dota and well...throw the discus. Out of everyone, i think Paul is the only person that can get Daniel to shut up when he's in one of his crazy moods :P. Paul is currently studying at SMK Taman SEA. I'm sure many of you know people from there ;).
ASHRAF
Ashraf, playing a shot to the 8th green.
This is Ashraf. He is an awesome golfer... wins a lot of competitions. Sometimes referred to as the M&M by us. His dad has a really cool job as a pilot...he gets to travel and see the world a lot. He's a really nice guy, humble and polite. Has a really smooth looking swing..which is why he is also sometimes called Mr Goosen. I don't play with him that often but we are still pretty good friends on and off the golf course.
DINIE
Dinie...attempting to hit a ball of a tree trunk while ripping his pants in the process .
Last but not least, theres Dinie! I first met this guy during Taekwando class a loooong time ago. He is a member of KGPA as well. He was at SMK Tropicana for a while but then moved to SMK DJ( same school as Daniel). He's a really great guy. I don't play with him much but we are still pretty good friends on and off the golf course.
...
Went to a my brother's business partner's open house today. It's such a small world. My mom met someone for her school and i met our ex ex ex head prefect's (Zharif Agil) Mom!!! The Rendang was awesome. Managed to control my self to 3 glasses of punch and... i got money!!!! yayy!!!!
Oh and finally, you guys have to watch this. This guy is Hiroyuki Suzuki from Japan and is one of the best yo-yo (1A style) players i've ever seen. The songs he picks are nice too!! His tricks and moves are just amazing...prepare to be astounded..

Space and Beyond!! | An Amusing Day
Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor.
First of all, I would like to congratulate Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor on his success of becoming Malaysia's first cosmonaut to go to space! *claps* You did the nation proud homie!!! The launch was set to take off at 21:21 pm Malaysian time. For those of yo some of the other shuttle launches carried out before, you could still feel the tension and suspense as it readied fu who didn't watch it, it was truly an amazing site. Although not as 'spectacular' asor take off. Was watching all of it on channel 3 and it was pretty funny because the announcer on tv was saying: " Okay, hanya seminit sahaja sampai take-off"...and then 1 minute later you hear "1 minute till take off" by the actual announcer at the launch pad lol. All the while i was praying that the shuttle wouldn't blow up or anything like the Shuttle Columbia disaster on the 1st of February 2003. Thank goodness everything went smoothly. Watched till the dudes pen started floating in the shuttle, then went upstairs.
Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor minutes after the take off of the space shuttle.
Some interesting facts about a Space Shuttle:
- It takes only about eight minutes for the Space Shuttle to accelerate to a speed of more than 17,000 miles (27,358 kilometers) per hour.
- The turbopump on the Space Shuttle main engine is so powerful it could drain an average family-sized swimming pool in 25 seconds.
- The Space Shuttle main engine weighs 1/7th as much as a train engine, but delivers as much horsepower as 39 train engines.
- If water, instead of fuel, were pumped by the three Space Shuttle Main Engines, an average family-sized swimming pool could be drained in 25 seconds. Each of the Space Shuttle's solid rocket boosters burns 5 tons of propellant per second.
Anyway, back to my ramblings for the day. Woke up at 11.30, thanks to someones sms ;)... Had Nasi Lemak for lunch which my mom bought while on her weekly market trip. It was actually pretty good, she had to buy a different one as the usual Nasi Lemak seller wasn't there today. Did i mention how much i love Nasi Lemak...hmm gotta make an ode to the Nasi Lemak one day...
After lunch, came online for a while but had to leave to get my new contacts and...glasses!!! (Okay so its never a good thing getting glasses, but my eyesight is bad anyway)... My previous glasses proved to be too under powered for my eyes... darn it im slowly going blind! >.<. Power's 275 now... was 250 6months before T_T. Anyway, we were supposed to go yesterday but the owner of the shop, a friend of my dad was at Taiwan for a holiday. His shop is located at the Tropics shopping center at Damansara Perdana.. the shopping center is virtually dead with almost no sign of people around. Almost 80% of the shops have closed down due to bad business in the area. His wife passed away a few months ago after a long hard fight with cancer. When we met him again today and i was really surprised to find that he had remarried again! His new wife is nice. She's from Taiwan and can speak English pretty well. We stayed and chatted with them for a while before leaving.
On the way back, my parents decided to go look at the showroom for the new and upcoming semi d's in the area. The guy who showed us around was a man name Daniel Low. He was really funny... kinda looked like a bear too. He showed us the showroom for the semi d and it was simply awesome. Starting at 1.3 million for the mid-sized semi d, 1.9million for the bigger sized one, 830 000 for the condominium and 5 million for the bungalow!!!. It was really really awesome. Very spacious and very very well furnished. The semi d was three floors, with the master bedroom occupying the whole third floor. Chuntedness...
We left at around 5 pm and stopped by a roadside stall to buy some rojak. A few guys came to eat some rojak there and i thought one of them looked familiar. Minutes later, on the way home i get an sms from Jo-Ann and she asks me what i was doing at the side of the road. Turns out the guy i thought i recognised was one of her church friends, Michael. Sorry Michael for not recognising you!!! Was a bit blur lol.
Reached home and had a chat with Amey. Hide and Seek is fun!!!...Lump under the bedsheet lmao...
Now, it's time to do Sways tag!!
The title for this tag is... THE AGE THAT I WISH TO GO BACK TO.
First of all, this is going to be pretty short unlike sway and Adrian's uber descriptive ones. I would say the age where i have my best memories so far, is during secondary school. Many memories, good and bad have been shared there. Honestly, I don't really have a specific age i want to go back to thought the idea of going back to standard one with the brains i have now seems appealing =/. Anyway, if i absolutely had to choose one i suppose it would be during Form 4. Many a time was spent chatting and being extremely random! Really got to know Sway well in the mid of Form 4. She's been one of my closest friends ever since. Very sincere, honest, helpful, fun to talk to, hyper and "tall" ^^. Back then in 4M, Naim, Ann and Angie were the people i hung out with most.( Still do today). They have been great, Naim with his "God Bless You", Okaayyyyy (in deep voice), diamond-habib-sign thing he does with his hands. Angie with her uber dancing skills, techno pal and man-magnetism. Ann with her rubbing nose ,sarcastic laugh and "Yea mannn" trademark :P. Oh yes i forgot to mention Daryl, who dances really well too... gah ill have to blog about all you guys later or something... hand pain!!! lol.
Angie & Jo-Ann.
Angie & Sway.
Siu Fong, Jo-Ann & Naim.

HEROES
Okay people!!! As you all know, Heroes Season 2 is out!!!
Heroes Season 2 premiered on the 24th of September, 2007. As of this post, 3 episodes would have passed, the third one airing today. However, sadly it is only shown in America and will only make its way to our screens sometime later.
For those of you unfamiliar to this awesome series, here is a brief summary!!!:
Heroes is basically a science fiction American drama series created by Tim Kring. It premiered on NBC on the 25th of September 2006.The show tells the story of several people who "thought they were like everyone else...until they realized they have incredible abilities." These people soon realize they have a role in preventing catastrophe and saving mankind. Sounds a little cliche' and corny from this summary, but it is truly an interesting and exciting series to watch. Just to give you an image on how popular this series is; When the season premiered in the United States, it attracted 14.3 million viewers overall, and received the highest rating for any NBC drama premiere in 5 years.
I don't want to indulge too deep into the actual storyline as it may spoil it for some of you who haven't seen it yet. However, here are some pics.
Scenes from the series:
The Cast:
Peter Petrelli & Nathan Petrelli
Hiro Nakamura & Matt Parkman
Claire Bennet & Noah Bennet
Nikki Sanders & Molly Walker
D.L Hawkins & Isaac Mendez
Mohinder Suresh & Micah Sanders
